EMDR is a groundbreaking treatment for trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and chronic illness. As an online EMDR therapist, I aim to support you in reconciling the disturbing parts of your past or present. We’ll work at a reasonable pace based on your goals and comfort. 

I’ll give you the coping skills you need to manage stress, and you will learn how to shift negative thoughts into more realistic beliefs. With time, I am confident you can start feeling more empowered and less stagnant in your daily life.

At its core, emotional support therapy helps you identify and cope with your emotions. Rather than suppress, intellectualize, or numb how you feel, you can learn to embrace these emotions- even if they scare you.

No matter your circumstances, your emotions are valid! They are part of being human. But, together, we will tackle uncomfortable feelings like shame, sadness, anger, or fear. You’ll gain introspection and insight, both of which can help you live a more balanced life.

One of the key ways I support my clients is by helping them develop new narratives for their life. Our stories and beliefs about ourselves and the world around us can have a powerful impact on our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Ultimately, my goal is to help you develop self-compassion and insight that guides you to live a happier, more peaceful life.

I have a specialized focus in anxiety, body acceptance, life transitions, and trauma.  I also believe advocacy is an essential part of mental health treatment, and I work through a social justice lens in everything I do. In addition, I wholeheartedly embrace a Health at Every Size approach.
