Helping You Tap Into Your Inner Wisdom

 Hi there, I’m Jaime (she/her)!

I believe that understanding your own story enables you to find clarity, self-acceptance, and a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in your life.

My Story

I know what it’s like to feel stuck and want more out of life. I have felt weighed down by my past and disconnected from my true self. I understand how hard change is and the discomfort that can come from breaking free from unhelpful  patterns.

I lived the first part of my life behind a mask of people-pleasing and trying to be what everyone else wanted me to be.  My pathway to becoming a therapist has not always been easy, but it has been powerful. I’ve faced my own challenges and trauma, including a later-in-life ADHD diagnosis, chronic pain, body image, and loss. I know what it’s like to feel stuck but ready for change.

In my early 20’s I knew I needed support and took a chance and started working with an amazing therapist. Little did I know that I began the most important healing work of my life: Letting go of societal expectations, trusting my worth, learning the importance of self-compassion, and living life on my terms.

Making the conscious choice to lean into change and live a more authentic and peaceful life allowed me to connect to my true self. Instead of always trying to be what my family, friends, or society wanted me to be, I learned to honor what made me feel alive and grounded in life.

As I continue on my healing journey, I’m still learning ways to tend to my overall well-being and self-compassion drives my self-care. I enjoy helping others give voice to the authentic parts of themselves. I know first-hand how this work can change how you move through the world.

The Power of Lived Experience

I have wanted to be a therapist since I was young, and I know what it’s like to be in the chair of the client. The powerful experience I had working with a compassionate, insightful, and supportive therapist only reaffirmed my calling in life.

For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to learning various modalities to support clients including counseling, body image work utilizing a Health at Every Size Lens (HAES), mindfulness, somatic practices, life coaching, and EMDR.

My commitment to my healing journey and my desire to support people through life’s challenging obstacles continues to inspire and inform my work as a therapist.

Therapist Me

I’m not your sit-back-and-listen therapist. I mean, I listen but I also enjoy collaborating with clients. Consider me an active co-creator in your journey. The support I provide is customized to your needs and lived experience. I try to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. And I love bringing humor into the therapeutic space.

Some of my specialties are: anxiety, later-in-life ADHD diagnosis, life transitions, self-acceptance/self-compassion, and trauma. I also support clients around body acceptance/body neutrality through a Health at Every Size and systemic lens.

Our work together will help you better understand your patterns, emotional landscape, and how you want to show up in the world. I feel privileged beyond belief that I can help empower, affirm, and support my clients.

I’m a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and Certified Life Coach. I hold a degree in Spiritual Studies, a master’s degree from Antioch University Seattle, completed a 120-hour life coach training program, and hold a certificate in EMDR.

In My Spare Time

In my space time, I try to maintain a balance between learning, play, and tending to my “adulting” tasks. Some of my favorite self-care practices include spending time with animals, being in nature, and traveling. I also enjoy connecting with friends, watching Bravo, and spending time with my partner and our two sweet rescue pups. We are all big fans of the beach.

Thank you once again for taking a moment to learn about me, I look forward to working with you
